The Rocket Model

Every team has strengths and weaknesses, and even high-functioning teams have the potential for heightened performance.

To get an accurate read on a team’s effectiveness, we recommend team members complete a proprietary Team Assessment Survey (TAS); a powerful, in-depth feedback tool that measures team effectiveness in each of the eight components of the framework. The TAS is an online survey based on research with 1,500 teams from around the globe. It’s designed to help teams identify and leverage strengths, define areas of improvement, build and execute action plans, and set the stage for changes to team dynamics and performance.

Teams find TAS is an unparalleled starting point for realizing goals and achieving results at a level that may currently seem unreachable.  Dynamic Leadership Development leverages The Rocket Model as part of its work with teams.

TDS Team Diagnostic Survey

The Team Diagnostic Survey is a well-validated instrument designed to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses of teams. Drs. Ruth Wageman, Richard Hackman, Erin Lehman and their colleagues at Harvard and other universities developed this assessment based on their research about the major conditions that foster team effectiveness. It measures 6 Conditions that account for up to 80% of team effectiveness, 3 Key Task Processes that emerge from those conditions, and 3 measures of Team Effectiveness.

Colm Murphy is a Certified Advanced Practitioner of the TDS.

The Global Leadership Profile

The Global Leadership Profile (GLP), developed by Bill Torbert, is a tool that enables leaders to understand how they currently perceive the world, what new pathways may be open to them, and what impacts these insights might have on their decision making.  The tool is used to measure from which of the seven leadership action-logics a client currently works.

Colm Murphy is a Global Leadership Profile Certified Coach.  We can help you develop your ability to access the wider range of your adult development mental model through the GLP assessment.

Action Learning

Action Learning is a problem-solving process that involves a small group working on real issues, taking action and reflecting upon the results, as individuals, as a team and as an organisation.  This approach helps to improve the problem-solving process as well as simplify the solutions developed by the team.

Colm Murphy is a trained Action Learning Facilitator.

Birkman Method

The Birkman Method is a multi-dimensional assessment combining behavioural styles, motivations, expectations, stress behaviours and occupational interests.

The Birkman Method combines both behavioural and motivational measurement, through a single questionnaire to individuals, teams and organisations.

It has been in use for more than 50 years and has been used by more than 2 million people and 5,000 organisations globally.

The assessment accurately measures social behaviours, underlying expectations of interpersonal and task actions, potential stress reactions to unmet expectations, occupational preferences and organisational strengths. It does this by taking account of the characteristics of the individual, of the situation and the interaction of individual and situation.

Colm Murphy is one of only a few qualified Birkman practitioners in Ireland.
We can help you build in the Birkman method to existing programmes, or run it as a stand alone for you, your team and your organisation.
